| Robert Van Dyk's Homepage |
This webpage is a project that promotes my creative, artistic, and humanitarian endevours. The goal is to exhibit my past efforts, promote ongoing activities, and plant the seeds for future ambitions.
The "Homepage" section is a little different from the rest of the overall site in that it is intended to be used to present information that is fact and not merely an opinion. The subpages here are divided up based on several of my prominent interests and passions. Anytime I update something on these subpages, there will be a note made on the News & Notes page. Without further ado, here's the good stuff...

I graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY in 2004 with a bachelor's degree in Computer & Systems Engineering. I graduated from Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, NJ in 2007 with a master's degree in Quantitative Software Engineering.
I date (and currently live with) a wonderful, young woman named Jen Brown. She keeps my on my toes most of the time, and while it would benefit me to learn to dance to match her grace, so far I have resisted. She's brillient and cheerful and creative and everything I could ever hope for in my life. Things have gone very well for me since we first got together in 2008.
I maintain this site as a means to publish interesting thoughts, useful information, and unique ideas. I want to extend myself to the global community to start a discussion on things that I find worthwhile. In these pages you'll certainly find links to a wild variety of things that I think fit into this classification. On some of these topics, I'm an expert. On others I'm merely voicing my educated opinion.
If you want to get in contact (with questions or comments) the best way to reach me is through my personal e-mail account. I make it a point to respond to all queries that aren't immediately identifiable as spam.
It should go without saying, but I'll say it anyway at the risk of offending anybody. The views expressed here are my personal views, and they are subject to change over time as more information becomes known to me. If you think anything on this site is wrong, let me know and we'll figure out how to make it better. Similarly, if you think any of the particular views on this site overshadow popularly held norms, let me know and we'll figure out how to broadcast my message to improve the popularly held norms.
And as always, thanks for reading.
